Training

Control Sistem is convinced that the key to fully exploiting the potential of any system or test bench lies in knowledge and therefore in specialized training. Training courses are usually carried out immediately after that a new system is delivered, but Control Sistem is available to provide any updates for new resources or simply to “refresh the memory”.

The training courses can cover various topics, starting from the mechanics, electrical and hydraulic nature of the system up to the safety aspects and the correct use of the automation system, which is the heart of every test bench. This aspect of the training course is always conducted by a mechatronics technician, who, in addition to giving the appropriate background information, explains which devices compose the automation system and which functions they have. The attention is often focused on the test cell supervision system, consisting in the application that is mainly monitored and used by the operators. It is then explained with the right level of detail, how to conduct automatic tests, operations in manual mode, how to intervene in the event of warning, which settings and actions can be configured depending on the level of authentication available, etc.

In case of more complex systems such as entire test cells, the mechatronic technicians are supported by resources specialized in other issues, such as electrical, mechanical, fluidic, refrigeration, etc., who will give the necessary information to understand the architecture of the overall test cell and to safeguard the life of the individual systems composing it.

The milestones of training:

  1. Customized Courses: the training courses are adapted to the specific needs of the users and the system or test bench provided. The training program is designed to convey the most important information (basic and specific) and fully understand the system.
  2. Expert Technicians: the conductors of the training courses coincide with those who have designed, developed and finally tested the system supplied. This means that the trainers are the leading experts knowing how the test bench should be used and therefore the best resources able to convey these concepts to each user.
  3. Field training: the systems and test benches provided by Control Sistem can be structurally simple or particularly complex, depending on the case. Anyway, Control Sistem believes that the training process should be carried out “on the job”, seeing and operating firsthand, to ensure an easier memorization of the processes and operations to be performed and to take advantage of the moment, to clarify any doubts from the first approaches to the new system.
  4. Safety and Awareness: another important goal of the training course is to convey the necessary information in terms of operational safety and make users aware of how to act on the system. Awareness must lead the operator to assess whether, in the event of warning, he can opt for his direct intervention or if it is necessary to involve Control Sistem technicians.
