Customised test benches for all types of vehicle testing

Customized test benches with the aim of testing every type of performance linked to the vehicles being tested (both endothermic and electric traction). The test benches can be made in both 2WD and 4WD versions.

Features

The core of automotive innovation can only pass through test benches and test cells. In case of whole-vehicle testing, Control Sistem proposes the design, construction and commissioning of test benches and test cells for any kind of test (performance, durability, accumulation, emissions, homologation, etc.) to be performed on vehicles (light duty or heavy duty) and motorbikes. Vehicles that can be tested on Control Sistem’s test benches can be endothermic, electric or hybrid powered.

  • Torque rollers: the dynamometric rolls, by means of the automation system, guarantee a high level of regulation accuracy, perfectly adapting to the road conditions on the vehicle itself; thus, enabling an accurate assessment of the vehicle's performance in several conditions (e.g. on a slope or in a straight line).
  • Adjustable test platform: is the mechanical structure that supports the vehicle or motorbike under test, adapting to the vehicle itself (e.g. wheelbase or coupling and fixing methods) in a secure manner and thus guaranteeing stability to the vehicle during the test in progress.
  • Measuring instrumentation: the test benches are equipped with sensors to ensure both good regulation (such as encoders, load cells, etc.) as well as measurement and evaluation of the performance tested on the bench.
  • Automation system: roller bench automation systems simplify and optimise the testing process for maximum operational efficiency. In addition, they allow the operator to perform the various set-up and test phases in a simple, automatic and intuitive way.
  • Self-guidance systems: self-driving systems allow the driver's work to be replaced, ensuring that each vehicle follows a precise speed profile during the test and performance similar (or even better) to a human driver one.
  • Test Cells: in addition to the test benches, Control Sistem is also able to design and build the room housing the test bench itself. As a General Contractor, many of Control Sistem projects start from the ground or the floor and go all the way up to the realisation of a turnkey project.
