Control Sistem is involved in the development of the new Fuel Cell engine test room for Isotta Fraschini Motori, part of the Fincantieri Group, within the Bari plant, which has recently been upgraded with a production line dedicated to fuel cells for naval applications.
As highlighted in the article published by Ares Difesa, this is a strategic project for the energy transition of the naval sector, aiming to make Italy a benchmark in the production of zero-emission technologies.
The test room designed by Control Sistem will be a key hub in the product validation process: it will allow full testing of the 3MW Fuel Cell container, using advanced INT9000 automation systems, a PMS for energy flow management, as well as integrated monitoring, control, and safety systems within the factory automation environment.
Our team is responsible for:
- the design and implementation of the automation system for the facility where the 3MW Fuel Cell container will be tested,
- the plant and instrumentation design of the test room,
- integration with the factory supervision system,
- safe management of hydrogen in the testing environment.
With this project, Control Sistem reaffirms its commitment to industrial innovation and support for sustainable mobility solutions of the future.
