On July 11, 2025, the launch of the new EK9 Step2 battery pack was successfully carried out at the HV Battery Remanufacturing Line in Mirafiori, thanks to a technical upgrade completed with the support of Control Sistem.
EK9 Step2 introduces several design and performance improvements over the previous version, requiring targeted updates to the testing and handling systems, particularly on the EOL (End Of Line) stations.
The intervention included hardware modifications and software enhancements to ensure full compatibility with the new battery specifications.
The commissioning phase was successfully completed on schedule and validated the seamless integration of the EK9 Step2 into the production process.
